The Federal Ministry of Education

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs

These were introduced as the official lists of accredited institutions in Benin Republic and Togo.

4. Legal Acknowledgement and Observations:

The legal counsel representing the Education Stakeholders acknowledged the official lists and praised the committee’s efforts.

However, a key concern was raised:

What is the evaluation status of graduates from private universities in Benin Republic before 2024, the year when the National BSc Exam became compulsory by Benin’s Ministry of Higher Education?

5. Committee Response:

Due to the absence of detailed clarification from the Ministry of Education on this matter, the Chairman resolved to seek an official position from the Federal Ministry of Education.

6. Adjournment and Next Steps:

After evaluating the legal arguments and committee opinions, it was agreed to:

Invite the Federal Ministry of Education for clarification on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

The resolution was unanimously adopted by all parties.

Conclusion and Resolutions:

The official list of accredited institutions in Togo Republic is acknowledged and adopted.

All graduates from these accredited institutions in Togo must meet NYSC and Federal Ministry of Education evaluation requirements to be cleared.

Degrees from Togo institutions are recognized and protected, as long as they are homologated by the Togolese Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

Students planning to study in Togo are strongly advised to verify their institution's inclusion on the official list before enrollment.

What This Means for Students:

Certificates obtained from any of the accredited institutions listed in the final master list will be eligible for evaluation and NYSC mobilization.

Students and graduates should remain patient and follow official updates.

There is no blanket invalidation of certificates earned from Benin or Togo.
